Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

 Everything is energy - Qi

It cannot be created 

or destroyed

only transformed.

Over time If we do not address  energetic blocks within our mind, body and emotions they will accumulate, blocking our life force therefore impacting our health and vitality.

Acupuncture treatments are designed to correct imbalances within these energy bodies, reversing or preventing disease.

Bach Flower Essences were developed in the 1930's by Dr Edward Bach, a bacteriologist, pathologist and homeopath. 

The 38 individual remedies are made from indigenous plants in England and each flower essence has a different vibration and healing effect.

 Any repeated negative feeling or thought we suffer creates blocks, energetic disturbances which start in the mind, affect our feelings then affect our physical body and overall health.

 Flower essences are a natural drug free method for enhancing well being, balancing the mind, body and emotions.

The essences can be taken orally or used topically.

Another modality of Traditional Chinese Medicine is Cupping therapy. 

Glass suction cups are placed on specific areas of the body which helps facilitate the flow of Qi and increase blood circulation to the area

This may relieve muscle tension, improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissue.

Cupping may also have a positive effect on the lymphatic system, which is partially responsible for eliminating your body's waste and stimulating your immune system.

The purpose of remedial massage is to activate the body's own healing mechanism.

Remedial massage is one traditional Chinese method that addresses injury related imbalances. Specific techniques are used to treat the source of the condition and relieve the patient's accompanying symptoms.

Moxibustion is a modality often combined with Acupuncture treatments.

 The leaves of the mugwort shrub are finely ground and made into a wool called moxa punk.

Burning moxa punk on acupuncture needles or specific areas of the body, creates a mild heat which penetrates deep beneath the skin assisting energy flow and removing obstruction of the meridian pathways.
